The Purse That Should Have Been A Tote Bag

I laid out wool on a mold to make a flat bottomed tote bag...

And then I felted it with Dr. Bronner's organic soap and water. But after fulling it and shocking it it was too small for a 3 ring binder, so now with the addition of a repurposed belt it is a flat bottomed bucket purse.

  1. Every single purse I have made started out being a tote bag.....One of these days I will get that whole shrinkage rate thing figured out! I do love the handles and the color. :)

  2. Thanks, Kelly. I made my mold bigger and made another bag and it is just the tote bag size I was aiming for. When it is dry I'll post a couple pics.
